We are able to offer a comprehensive valuation service carried out by our own registered valuer. We can value items both for the purpose insurance and probate. It is important practice to keep your jewellery correctly valued, in order to obtain the correct replacement value should the item be lost or damaged.
What would be involved?
Your jewellery will be cleaned and then assessed for its current market replacement value. Whilst this is being done we will make a note of any repairs that may need to be carried out. Once your jewellery has been returned to you will receive the following:
- An orginal copy of your valuation certificate.
- A second copy of your certificate, for you to forward to your inusrance company.
- A written estimate of any work that may need to be carried out with regards to your jewellery.
*It is important that your jewellery is correctly maintained, as any loss that can be attributed to poor maintenance on your part will invalidate your claim.
